Obituary for Winfield Eugene Foley

Winfield Eugene Foley, age 76, of Twin Valley Road, London, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2019 at his home. He was born on March 8, 1943 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Ralph and Myrtle (Wyatt) Foley. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Roger and Johnny Foley and his sisters, Carolyn Davis, Brenda Foley and Helen Miller. Gene was a graduate of Williamsburg High School and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Gene loved all animals.

He is survived by his nieces, Virginia Lanese Foley of Manchester, Connecticut and Kendra Brooke Foley of Corbin, Kentucky; his great nephews, Caleb, Stephen and Tidus; brother-in-law, Harold Miller of Florida; sister-in-law, Betty Foley of Corbin, Kentucky; and a host of friends to mourn his passing.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Briar Creek Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #88 of Corbin, Kentucky.

In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be made to the Knox-Whitley Animal Shelter, 66 Busy Lane, Corbin, Kentucky 40701.
